Phase 1 consists of a Town Hall building with Council Chambers and an Administration Building, which are connected under one roof. On the west side of the site, a free standing Police Station is being built. All buildings are of reinforced masonry construction with hardi-board siding. Roof systems are standing seem metal and are designed to provide large shaded walkways around the buildings.
Phase two of this project involves the repair and renovation of the existing multi-purpose town hall building for use as a fire station. This phase will begin after the completion of phase one construction and the employees will relocate to their new facility.
Hall worked with the town staff and project architects on early planning which questioned the best location for the police department space. The team determined that relocating the police to the Town Hall site was the best option. Hall provided accurate cost, schedule and constructability studies to help achieve the town’s needs.
