Daytona State College Building 510/530
DescriptionArchitect’s Recommendation: “The projects at DBCC have progressed pretty much as we all have planned and a great deal of that success is due to the dedication and effort of the Hall Construction Company team. Your staff has provided a continuing concern for the Owner’s requirements and stayed with the design concepts as well.
The transformation of the 30 year old automotive training building into the Cosmetology College classrooms and labs was a challenge for Hanson’s designers and Hall’s construction team. Due to the careful coordination and scheduling of your on site staff, the project was completed on time with very few changes.
Building 530 exemplifies some extraordinary planning and coordination skills by the entire construction team of Hall and the subcontractors. The schedule for this project was nearly impossible but it was ready for the fall classes as requested by DBCC. Every subcontractor’s crew worked very closely with other trades and they worked all over the site simultaneously. It was amazing to see such teamwork in action and this was due to the leadership and scheduling of Hall Construction Company.
The College has been very pleased with all the work Hall Construction has done for us. The projects have been well coordinated, completed in a timely fashion and within/or under budget. I look forward to continuing to work with Hall Construction and would confidently recommend them to others.” Steven D. Eckman, P. E. Director Facilities Planning Department
